Launched on 16th January, 2016, the Startup India initiative nurtures innovation and entrepreneurship in India. Eligibility Criteria
  • Age of Company: Less than 10 years from incorporation.
  • Entity Type: Must be a Private Limited Company, LLP, or Partnership Firm.
  • Turnover: Should not exceed ₹100 crore in any financial year.
  • Original Entity: Should not be formed by splitting/reconstructing existing business.
  • Innovation & Scalability: Must aim at innovation and employment/wealth creation.

  • Details and e-KYCs of directors or partners
  • Organizational Class 3 Digital Signature

Registration Process
  1. Online Application: Register on National Single Window System (NSWS).
  2. DSC Verification: Create Class 3 DSC to verify PAN and company details.
  3. Profile Completion: Fill out startup and founder details online.
  4. Document Upload: Submit incorporation, identity, and business documents.
  5. Self-Certification: Confirm eligibility compliance.
  6. Recognition: Receive Startup India Certificate from DPIIT.
