MSME / Udyam Registration with SNB Consultancy
Udyam Registration is the Government of India's recognition system for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, run by the Ministry of MSME. It replaced the old Udyog Aadhaar / EM-II process from 1 July 2020. Registration is online, free of government fee, and based on self-declaration linked to your PAN and GSTIN — SNB Consultancy makes sure it is classified and filed correctly.
The value of Udyam is in the benefits it unlocks — collateral-free lending, delayed-payment protection, and tender preference — all of which depend on the enterprise being classified correctly.
Our Udyam Registration Services Include:
- Aadhaar and PAN validation on the Udyam portal
- Correct enterprise classification — Micro, Small or Medium — based on investment and turnover
- Selection of the right NIC activity codes for your business
- Filing of enterprise, employment and bank details, and linking of GSTIN
- Delivery of the Udyam Registration Number and e-certificate, plus advisory on the benefits you can now claim
What is Udyam Registration?
Udyam Registration is a permanent identification for MSMEs issued through the official Udyam portal. It uses a composite classification — an enterprise is placed in a category only if it is within both the investment limit and the turnover limit. Investment and turnover figures are pulled automatically from linked Income Tax and GST records.
Classification of Enterprises
Limits were revised with effect from 1 April 2025:
| Category | Investment in plant & machinery / equipment | Annual turnover |
|---|---|---|
| Micro | Up to ₹2.5 crore | Up to ₹10 crore |
| Small | Up to ₹25 crore | Up to ₹100 crore |
| Medium | Up to ₹125 crore | Up to ₹500 crore |
